    Leadership

Today’s nurse leader is not defined by title alone. Leadership is expressed in how we influence practice, advocate for safety, mentor colleagues, and elevate standards. But leadership also requires courage: the courage to challenge outdated systems, to speak up for vulnerable patients, and to model professionalism in environments that are often stretched and pressured.

    Questions to explore:

    • What does leadership look like in your daily practice?
    • How can nurses at every level develop a stronger leadership voice?
    • What barriers still prevent nurses from stepping into leadership roles?

This discussion invites every member — whether newly qualified, mid-career, or seasoned in practice — to reflect on the changing landscape of our profession and the opportunities it presents.
