LSSNMAIA is the association of all Lagos State-trained Nurses and Midwives, including Public Health Nurses, in Nigeria and in Diaspora. LSSNMAIA was established in the UK in 1998 and launched in Lagos 2017 to support alumni.
Graduates of Lagos State Schools of Nursing Complex, 1-9 Awolowo Road Ikoyi, Lagos State College of Nursing Igando, and Lagos University Teaching Hospital are all alumni members of LSSNMAIA.

The Chairman of the National Association of Nurses and Midwives Lagos State, Mr Julius Awojide, and all Lagos State Nurses and Midwives present, also showed their support. We invited many healthcare organisations, nursing groups, allied health and social care professionals, and nurses in diaspora to embraced LSSNMAIA Give-back Programs.
Also made a presentation on Interprofessional Collaboration to the leadership of the Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria and submitted written proposal to the Nigerian medical Association and recruited Affiliate members who now support LLSNMAIA Board.
